Overview of how Moyosore handles personal data under the GDPR.

Name, email address, phone number, and any message or listing details you submit through our contact form or WhatsApp, plus standard technical data (IP address, browser type) collected automatically by the hosting provider.
If you submit a listing through our Sublet page, we also receive the property and listing details you provide there, including your situation, property type, city, price, availability dates, length of stay, gender preference, description, and reason for subletting. Any photos you select in that form are not uploaded to us or stored on our servers, if you choose to include photos, you attach them yourself directly inside the WhatsApp conversation that opens.
To respond to verification requests, connect people looking for a sublet with people listing one, communicate about your case, and improve our services. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Processing is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) when you submit a form, and on contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) once you engage our verification service.
Contact form and Sublet listing submissions are currently routed to WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland) when you click "Send via WhatsApp" or "Post my sublet." Our website assistant (chat widget) sends the message you type to Anthropic PBC to generate a reply; no message is stored by us beyond your browser session. If you accept analytics cookies via the banner on this site, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to understand visitor numbers and general location, see section 8. If a form backend or email provider is added, list it here too, this section must stay current.
We retain enquiry, contact, and sublet listing data for 12 months after your last contact with us, after which it is deleted unless a longer period is required by law or you have entered into a service contract with us, in which case data is kept for the duration of that relationship plus any statutory retention period that applies.
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to or restrict its processing. Contact verify@moyosore.de to exercise these rights, or lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
We only use non-essential cookies with your prior consent. When you first visit, a banner asks whether you agree to analytics tracking. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (not a tracking cookie itself) so we don't ask again.
If you accept, we load Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), which uses cookies to measure visitor counts, approximate location (country/city, derived from IP address), device type, and which pages are viewed. This data is aggregated and used only to understand site traffic, we do not use it for advertising or combine it with any other personal data we hold about you. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this site and declining again when the banner reappears. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google.
